Mistress Lucy Thomson, Scullery Maid
Mistress Lucy Thomson is the daughter of Katherine and Thomas Thomson. Her mother
died of an illness when she was born. She has a younger brother in his early teens.
Thomas was a merchant but made some
poor business deals and thus wound up penniless. Rather than living on the streets, Lucy asked her cousin Eleanor for help.
Eleanor is a scullery maid in the employ of the Viscount Montague and was ably to get Lucy a job as a scullery maid beside
her.
She gets a little anxious sometimes and wants to please the noble family that took her in. She is very good with
children and enjoys teaching them games. Strange nobles make her nervous but she does her best to be a credit to her lord,
Lucy is not able to marry, as she has no dowry to speak of.
