Mistress Lucy Thomson, Personal maid

Mistress
Lucy Thompson is the daughter of Katherine and Thomas Thompson, the eldest of two surviving children with a brother, Adam,
seven years younger. Their mother died of an illness shortly after Adam's birth. Thomas was a merchant but made
some poor business deals and thus wound up penniless. Rather than living on the streets or on her back, Lucy asked her cousin
Eleanor for help. Eleanor is a scullery maid in the Viscount Montague's household and was able to get Lucy a job as a scullery
maid beside her. Lucy has since risen in rank to Lady Lucy Browne's personal maidservant, a role she feels a little
undeserving of but grateful for. Lucy gets a little anxious sometimes but wants to please the noble house that took
her in, especially her lady. Strange nobles and royalty make her nervous but she does her best to be a credit to her lady.
Lucy hopes to earn enough money in her new position to come up with a dowry as she is getting quite old for marriage.
